Machine Description:

The large, well-equipped HM 254 mitre saw from Scheppach is an excellent helper at home, in the workshop, in the cottage and on construction sites. It is designed for precise cutting of hard and soft woods, wood profiles and plastics. It is made of very strong but lightweight aluminium alloy, making it easy to handle. The long service life of this type of material and its resistance to external influences are also important. The advantage of the large cutting wheel diameter of 254 mm and the powerful 2000 W motor in conjunction with the coating makes the machine able to handle cuts of 90 mm in height and up to 340 mm in length. The blade is made of high quality material and has 60 carbide teeth as standard, which ensures a very good cutting quality. A second blade with 48 teeth is also supplied with the saw for normal cutting. For precise work, the saw is equipped with a laser and a large side extension of the work plate. A full saw blade cover ensures maximum operator safety.
