Bi-metal saw blades are made of two different metals: Alloy (spring) steel serves as the carrier of the blade and is a solid base for a very hard high-speed steel wire (such as HSS M42 or M51), which is precisely welded to it. This carefully selected combination of materials ensures high durability and a long service life of the blade, as the flexible blade effectively absorbs the stresses and vibrations that occur during cutting, while the hard blade retains its sharpness for a long time when working with various materials such as metals, wood and other building materials.
