Scheppach band saws have long been a household name. The manufacturer has transferred its know-how from professional saws to the compact band saw for the general public. The Scheppach HBS 25 is the ideal solution for all hobby users who require fast and precise cutting in materials such as plastic or soft or hard wood. The saw is designed for a whole range of cuts - longitudinal, mitre and curved. The machine is based on a maintenance-free induction motor, a steel frame and an extension table that can be tilted from 0° to 45° and extended from 380 to 540 mm. For precise straight cuts, the table is equipped with a sliding ruler with quick-release lever. The quick-release ruler is mounted on both sides of the table, which is rather exceptional in this class and significantly increases the accuracy of the work. The guide pulleys of the saw blade are mounted in bearings and do not allow the saw blade to deflect. The cuts are thus very precise even on this small model. Thanks to the frame design, the saw also has a good cutting height of 80 mm. Changing the saw blade is also very easy thanks to the whole side wall tipping system. The compact dimensions of the machine are an advantage especially for smaller workshops, but they also make the machine easy to handle and transport. Holes are provided in the base for firmly attaching the band saw to the workbench. The safety switch is dust-tight and the machine also includes a push bar and angle ruler. The saw uses standard saw blades from 7 to 12 mm wide.
