Description
Automatic band saw PEGASUS NC. The feed of the arm into the cut and back, clamping and material feed is controlled by computer. Adjustment of the cutting angle of the arm by computer.
Specification:
- Cutting angle 0°-60°. Cutting angle adjustment is fully programmable. Rotation of the arm is realized by means of a hydraulic cylinder and angle reading by means of a magnetic tape.
- VHZ - frequency converter for continuous change of cutting speed from 16 to 120 m/min
- The machine arm consists of a casting made of a special hardened alloy
- The machine base consists of a sturdy welded steel and cast iron base
- Belt tensioning by means of a dynamometric member with optical indication
- Cleaning brush of the saw blade driven by its own motor and gearbox
- Hydraulic unit for arm movement + pressure control
- Hydraulic clamping (vise) of the material.
- Hydraulic feeding vise with self-centering device for uneven bars, etc. Movement of the vise by means of a linear guide which reduces friction. Feeding step 1000mm.
- Cutting length adjustment by computer. Movement of the feeding vise by means of a linear guide. Tolerance ± 0,1 mm.
- The saw blade guide is made up of side bearings, carbide inserts and also top bearings which significantly extends the life of the saw blade.
- The cut-off (minimum length of the last cut piece) in the automatic cycle is 310mm
- 4 material support rollers. 2 rollers are adjusted automatically depending on the position of the feed vise
- NB1 - lubricity (cooling and oil mist lubrication) is standard
- Gearbox fitted with helical toothed gears and long lasting oil filling
- Material conveyor on the infeed side (600mm)

- Computer control with the possibility of programming 99 programs for different types of material and grades of material to be cut, with subsequent determination of the cutting parameters and their storage in the computer memory. Piece counting, etc.
